Bringing together researchers, practitioners and policy makers working with migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Scotland
The GRAMNet/BEMIS Film Series includes films and documentaries addressing a whole range of wider social and international issues such as human trafficking, women’s struggles, child poverty, migration challenges, cultural conflicts and diversity, children soldiers, refugee communities, and Holocaust survivors’ stories.
Screenings are accompanied by forums, discussions and Q&A for everyone to share views and thoughts in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
The 2010/11 Film Series is hosted by the Glasgow Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA www.cca-glasgow.com).
Events are free of charge and open to everyone (some age restrictions apply – please check the Film Series page).
Screenings start at 5.30pm
We’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Nejla Osseiran for the use of her wonderful image from My Beloved Sulukule on our 2010/11 film brochure cover.
